Bollywood actress Yami Gautam and her filmmaker husband Aditya Dhar are reportedly teaming up for a third venture following the successes of their previous collaborations, Uri, The Surgical Strike, and the upcoming Dhoom Dhaam.
The couple’s new project is reportedly a political thriller inspired by true events, adding a fresh dimension to their creative partnership.
The yet-to-be-titled film is slated to be produced under Dhar’s production banner, B62 Studios. The directing duties have been assigned to Aditya Suhas Jambhale, an accomplished Goan filmmaker known for his award-winning short films like Aaba…Aiktaay Na?, Kharvas, and Amritsar Junction.
In this new venture, Gautam is expected to portray a strong-willed woman caught in unusual circumstances, showcasing her range as an actress.
This hard-hitting political thriller is set to start filming in September 2023, with most of the shooting planned in Delhi and Kashmir, providing a fitting backdrop for the storyline.
While these details have sparked interest, there has not yet been an official confirmation from the representatives of Gautam and Dhar. As anticipation builds among fans, they eagerly await more information about this upcoming political thriller.
In addition to this project, Gautam’s work calendar includes other exciting ventures. Dhoom Dhaam is already generating buzz, and OMG 2, another of her awaited films, is scheduled to release on August 11.
