In a surprising turn of events, Farhan Akhtar’s highly anticipated directorial venture, Jee Le Zaraa, has been put on hold due to scheduling conflicts. The film, which was set to unite superstars Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, and Priyanka Chopra, has faced setbacks that have left fans disappointed.
According to sources close to the project, Priyanka Chopra’s prior commitments in Hollywood prevented her from committing to the shoot in 2023. She proposed shooting for Jee Le Zaraa in 2024, which Farhan Akhtar agreed to accommodate. However, Alia Bhatt, who has already committed to filming projects like Ramayana and Baiju Bawra in 2024, was unable to align her schedule for next year.
Despite efforts to find alternatives, including considering recasting, the film could not move forward as planned. The changing dates and unavailability of key cast members led to concerns, with Katrina Kaif also facing personal and professional commitments. As a result, Farhan Akhtar had no choice but to put Jee Le Zaraa on the back burner.
Jee Le Zaraa was anticipated to be the female equivalent of the beloved film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. However, for now, fans will have to wait patiently for this exciting project to materialize, and it remains uncertain whether the film will be revamped with a different cast in the future.
