South Indian actress Keerthy Suresh is gearing up for her Bollywood debut opposite Varun Dhawan in an action-packed film tentatively titled #VD18.
Produced by Murad Khetani (Cine1 Studios) and Priya Atlee (A For Apple Studios), the movie will be directed by Tamil filmmaker Kalees.
Keerthy will reportedly play a strong and glamorous character in this high-octane film filled with emotions and action.
Having made her mark in South Indian cinema with her extraordinary acting skills and natural charm, the actress is poised to expand her horizons with this pan-Indian venture.
The film’s shooting is slated to commence next month in Mumbai. With a planned three-month production schedule, the makers target a theatrical release date of May 31, 2024.
Fresh from his role as a werewolf in Amar Kaushik’s Bhediya, Varun Dhawan will reportedly be playing a police officer in #VD18. His other upcoming movie, Bawaal, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, is eagerly anticipated by fans.
On the other hand, Keerthy Suresh has an impressive lineup of South Indian films in her kitty. These include Bhola Shankar with Chiranjeevi, Revolver Rita, Raghu Thatha, and Kannivedi.
The Bollywood entry with #VD18 signals the start of an exciting phase in her acting career.
