Shah Rukh Khan continues to dominate the box office with his latest film, “Jawan,” directed by Atlee, hitting the ₹500 crore mark in India within two weeks of its release while it is near to crossing ₹1000 crore globally.

This feat positions “Jawan” as the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film in India, closely trailing “Pathaan,”Baahubali: The Conclusion,” and “Gadar 2.” Furthermore, “Jawan” has outdone the Hindi collections of the much-anticipated “KGF Chapter 2.”

Featuring a star-studded ensemble including Nayanthara, who made her Hindi film debut, and cameos from Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt, “Jawan” has garnered both audience appreciation and robust box office numbers.

Its impressive box office collection began with a whopping ₹75 crore on its release day, Janmashtami, September 7. By the end of its first week, the film had already raked in ₹389 crore. As of day 13, “Jawan” stands at a domestic total of ₹507.88 crore. On a global scale, the film’s collection stands at a staggering ₹883 crore, according to the film’s official Instagram.

This remarkable performance adds another feather to Shah Rukh Khan’s cap in a year that already saw him deliver a massive hit with “Pathaan.” Shah Rukh, expressing his enthusiasm for the year, hinted at another potential blockbuster, “Dunki,” set to release during the festive period of Christmas and New Year. As he playfully remarked during the “Jawan” success event, “When my film is released, it is Eid.”

While the film’s success has brought cheer to fans and the industry, Shah Rukh celebrated the ₹500 crore achievement at Ganesh Chaturthi festivities, marking a memorable day in his illustrious career.
